Joe Giudice, 42, were sentenced after pleading guilty in March 2014 to 41 counts of fraud that included being accused of engaging in bank, mail and wire bankruptcy fraud. Despite an extremely emotional plea where Teresa told the judge, 'I'm more sorry than you will ever know' the mother of daughters,
Gia,
Gabriella,
Milania, and
Audriana will serve 15 months behind bars.
Meanwhile,Joe has been sentenced to spend 41 months behind bars in federal prison and pay a $414,588 restitution fee that is due immediately.
While the court waited to hear Teresa's sentence, North Jersey reported that, 'she will not serve her sentence at the same time as Joe so one of them can always be caring for their four daughters.'
After Joe was sentenced, reports that U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas said, 'I do wish you luck. You have made some serious mistakes and you have to pay for them. But you have a lot to live for.'
The judge also gave the couple some advice. 'Your four daughters need to understand discipline. If you don't have it you shouldn't spend it,' she said. 'If they won't like you because you're not driving a Benz or walking on Jimmy Choos or Manolo Blahniks then they're not your friends.'
The site reports that the couple's lawyers also criticized the reality show. They said it was guilty of, 'editing situations to create fake drama.' Reportedly their attorney's also asked for leniency, saying 'a harsh sentence would cause 'untold trauma on the children.''

HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the couple's legal issues began back in 2009 when the couple first filed for bankruptcy. Since then things have escalated and they were charged in July 2013 on a number of counts of fraud. This charge included Joe's failure to file a tax return from 2004-2008.
reported that the reality star had a very emotional day on Oct. 1. A source told the site, 'Teresa ... tried to not cry in front of her four daughters, but she couldn't help but shed a few tears,' the source dished. 'It's not lost on Teresa that Wednesday could have been her final day of freedom for a very long time. And Joe knows the judge is likely to throw the book at him, and sentence him to at least three years in prison, too.'
