Kyle Massey has refuted rumors that he has cancer.
The former "That's So Raven" star and "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, 21, was trending worldwide on Twitter over the weekend after a false report claimed that he was dying of the disease.
Massey denied the rumor that he is terminally ill in a statement released to ET.
"I want to say first, 'I do not have cancer,' and I don't know where this inconsiderate and insensitive rumor originated from," he said. ""My team and I are making every attempt to find out the original source of this story because it's just not cool."
He noted that the rumor is badly timed.
"This hoax is just plain classless! Especially in light of the various tragedies happening this weekend and the Trayvon Martin verdict."
