Teresa will allegedly tell the judge he should not be influenced by her role in RHONJ because 'the image is little more than a carefully crafted fiction, engineered by Bravo TV through scripted lines and clever editing,' according to TMZ.
We're surprised Teresa would blast Bravo and say The Real Housewives of New Jersey is fake! Especially since Teresa reportedly earns $700,000 a season to star on the long-running reality series. Considering she and Joe owe the IRS a ton of money, we don't think she'd want to lose her job by blasting the network.

Teresa is also reportedly hoping the judge will also take into consideration that she and Joe have four daughters. If they both go to jail, TMZ claims the girls will likely have to be split up because no one relative can take all four. (Wait - what about
Melissa and
Joe Gorga?)
The report also goes on to claim that Teresa is willing to forfeit any money from the wire fraud if she doesn't get any jail time. She will allegedly say she's willing to do community service and accept home detention.
Plus, Teresa allegedly feels she does a lot of charity work, and she can be more useful in the community than behind bars.
Joe is facing 37 to 46 months in prison for the crimes for which he was accused, while Teresa may be facing 21 to 27 months for her complicit, but lesser involvement.
