Tyler Perry's girlfriend, Gelila Bekele, is apparently pregnant with the mogul's first child. But does this mean the on-again, off-again lovers will get married?
Baby rumors swirled earlier this week, when a source claimed Tyler Perry announced at his 45th birthday party that he was going to be a father. Some Internet detectives then did some digging and found the below month-old photo on Pietro Mourao 's Instagram page. Mourao, who claims to be a friend of Gelila Bekele, apparently wrote in the picture's comments section that Bekele is seven months pregnant.

'He said he had to start getting used to not getting a lot of sleep because his life was about to change in a big way,' the guest said of Tyler Perry. 'He said, 'Some of you know what I'm talking about.''

She is signed with Ford Models and has appeared in ad campaigns for Pantene Pro-V and L'Oreal. Bekele is also a dedicated social activist who works with Charity: Water, which aims to provide clean water to those in developing countries.
The baby news is particularly shocking since it's not even clear if Gelila Bekele and Tyler Perry are still together. But if they are, it will be interesting to see if they decide to get married. After all, Perry is a devout Christian who often incorporates faith into his movies and television shows.

One would think that someone as religious as Tyler Perry would not want to have a child out of wedlock. But just last year, Perry implied that he cared more about becoming a father than getting married. So even though Gelila Bekele is pregnant, the twosome might decide to raise the baby separately.
'I'm not so sure, with this kind of work ethic, what kind of husband I will be,' Tyler Perry said in May 2013. 'I don't know about marriage as much as I do know that I'd be a great father.'
