Derek Hough doesn't get a free pass! 'Dancing With The Stars': Julianne Hough 'Not Afraid' To Judge Brother Derek Hough
Julianne stole America's hearts, as a professional dancer on DWTS, and she's about to do it again...but maybe with a love, hate relationship because she's ready to judge, and she's not going to be easy - at least on her brother,
Derek!
'Everyone's fair game at this point,' Julianne tells
HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
'It's not me judging my brother - it's me judging the collaboration and connection that he has with his partner and the growth that I see her do,' Julianne adds, talking about Derek's partner, YouTube sensation
Bethany Mota. 'If I see something where I'm like, 'Yo Derek, you didn't up your game with your partner, she could have done better this week,' then I will call him out for sure. I'm not afraid of that. But he knows and hopefully everybody else knows too, it's never to diss anybody or call anybody out, it's because I really do want to see the people improve.'
With her fair share of experience on , Julianne, who will judge alongside
Carrie Ann Inaba,
Len Goodman and
Bruno Tonioli, is especially excited to return to her old stomping grounds.

Julianne isn't worried about calling people out because she has the right to do that - she is a professional dancer, after all, and has been in their same dancin' shoes!
'I've grown up around it my whole life,' the new judge tells
HollywoodLife.com about dance. She jokes, 'I used to compete, I won - not to sound cocky!'
'I do have some knowledge, as far as technique goes. But also, on the other hand, it's all about performance, too, and I've been on that other side, and I know how important it is to connect with the audience and the fans,' Julianne says. 'I'm going to be honest and direct, but I'll let things slide every once in a while.'
Dancing With The Stars two-night premiere debuts on September 15 (8/7c) on ABC, followed by the elimination show on Tuesday, September 16 with a special duet performance by
Smokey Robinson and
Aloe Blacc.
