DRAGON CON annual sci-fi, fantasy & comic fan convention in Atlanta. The lineup includes

Giancarlo Esposito, Patrick Stewart, Walter Koenig, and too many other past and present sci fi stars to name. Not to mention lots of regular folks dressed like super heroes and comic book characters. You have got to see the costumes and don't miss the annual parade on Saturday morning at 10 am downtown. Decatur Book Festival features NBA All Star Joe Barry Carroll at the nation's largest independent book festival.
