How to watch France and Honduras open World Cup play on TV and online.
France will attempt to erase the bad memories from 2010 with a strong start to their latest World Cup campaign. In there way is Honduras, a team lacking attacking flair, but still capable of tripping up the French if they aren't on their game.
Didier Deschamps lost Franck Ribery to an injury, he left Samir Nasri off the squad, and now is the time for his team to prove the decisions he's made were the right ones. There's still Karim Benzema and Paul Pogba, plus a relatively easy group, at least on paper. There's no doubt the French are good enough to advance, now we just have to see if there mentally in the right place.
Honduras are not expected to do much in the group, but a point against the French would both raise some eyebrows and give them some hope.
Los Catrachos should have confidence after a solid performance against England in a friendly last week in Miami, where they held the Three Lions to a scoreless draw. If Honduras are to challenge, they'll need goals from their attacking duo Jerry Bengtson and Carlo Costly.
