INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A well-liked and very distinctive voice has been silenced.
Early Thursday morning, WISH-TV's radio partners at The BOB & TOM Show said frequent guest Tim Wilson had died.
BOB & TOM posted videos of Wilson's appearances on the show and re-tweeted posts from those who had heard of his death.
Those who do not immediately recognize the name, might still know his humor, which had proud southern roots. Wilson toured the country, often working with people like Ron White. He also recorded country music and had more than a dozen albums.
Ron White says Wilson passed of a heart attack. 24-Hour News 8 is working to get direct confirmation of Wilson's death. Guilty plea in Mercer County double homicide
