When Kid Cudi pulled a Beyonce and dropped a full album on Feb. 25, we were super excited to hear what his fourth album had to offer. And I'm not going to lie, it's actually pretty impressive.
Kid Cudi's first two albums, Man on the Mood: The End of the Day and Man on the Moon, Vol. II: The Legend of Mr. Rager were of course top selling for him and fun to listen to, but didn't show off his talent the way his third, and now his fourth do. We're extremely excited that his he dropped his fourth album early! Kid Cudi's 'Satellite Flight' Review
Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon has that Kid-Cudi-sound that his fans know and love, but adds in a more modern tone that his first three albums didn't.

The album consists of ten songs, but three don't even have words - and I didn't turn them off. The instrumentals fill up the space that would be in between songs, but don't drag on. They're entertaining and grasping, keeping my attention throughout.
'I just know that people are really gonna love this music [because] it's perfect and brings them right back to the
Man on the Moon theme,' Cudi said in an interview with MTV. 'It starts where
Indicud left off perfectly, and takes you right into
MOTM III. It's like a TV show that ends with that cliffhanger. The album ends that way, where you get that one song and before you know it, the song is over and the album is over, but there's a 'to be continued...' There's more to the story.'
We absolutely get that. Songs like 'Too Bad I Have to Destroy You Now' is a perfect combination of his old sound and his traditional-sounding rapping - something we're not used to from Cudi. Of course, the space theme continues with that common beat and a synthesizer.
Overall, I've got to say that after listening to the album fully through, I'm pleasantly surprised. The new album shows off a side of Cudi we haven't heard, but he's kept his signature sound. It's the perfect combination of new and classic.
