COLUMBIA, Md. (WJZ) - Three people are confirmed dead after a shooting at the Columbia Mall. No identities have been released.
The exact number of injured people or extent of their injuries isn't known.
There's a report that the police are now in the mall, and they have K9 units.
There are also reports that the shooter may be injured or one of the dead; that's also not known for sure. Police said one of the dead was found near a gun and ammunition.
It's not known what led to the shooting.
Police say 911 received a call around 11:15 a.m. Saturday for reports of shots fired.
People are advised to avoid the area if possible.
